We have been following the University’s guidance in dealing with the rapidly evolving situation concerning the COVID-19 virus.
As a precautionary measure and based upon the advice from our expert panel, ANU will cancel all public and social events from Monday 16 March until the end of semester one, Saturday 20 June.
This is a precautionary measure that we know will be disappointing for many, but our aim is to reduce opportunities for the virus to spread by limiting activity on campus without disrupting our essential teaching and research activities.
Unfortunately, a flow on effect of this decision means that we are cancelling our Visiting Fellows Dinners planned for March to June 2020.
The decision to postpone these events has not been an easy one, however the health and safety of our community is our top priority.
This is a challenging time and we thank you for your support and understanding.
