The ANU Australian Studies Institute (AuSI) is delighted to welcome our next Visiting Fellow from our 2022-23 Visiting Fellowship Program, Dr Wen-Chi Yang.

“I’m pleased to welcome Wen-Chi to AuSI and wish her well throughout her time at ANU. Her Fellowship with AuSI will enable her to collaborate with ANU experts in environmental sustainability, and to foster stronger ties between the Australian Studies Center in Taiwan and our Australian Studies Institute.”

- Professor Paul Pickering, Director, ANU Australian Studies Institute

“I am eagerly looking forward to my AuSI Fellowship, where I hope to engage with fellow scholars and delve into Australia's environmental politics. I particularly want to focus on the development of renewable energy and aim to deepen my understanding of Australian perspectives and practices in renewable energy policy. By studying Australian experiences, I seek to identify potential lessons and best practices that could be adapted and implemented in Taiwan's renewable energy sector. Additionally, I am keen to explore potential collaborative opportunities between Australia and Taiwan in this field. As the Director of the Center for Australian Studies at National Chengchi University (NCCU), the only center of its kind in Taiwan, I also hopes that my visit to ANU will foster increased academic cooperation between Australia and Taiwan.”
