University of Tasmania

Jingna (Nora) Qian is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Tasmania. Before moving to Australia, she completed a Master of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management at The University of Hong Kong and spent more than five years working in the supply chain industry in China. Her professional experience has spanned logistics, systems implementation, and process improvement, giving her a broad understanding of how organisations manage resources and make business decisions.

Through her professional experience, she developed a growing interest in the role of finance in supporting business performance and sustainable growth. This motivated her to relocate to Australia and pursue a new direction in her career. She is now particularly interested in finance, accounting, and sustainable business practices, and hopes to combine her supply chain experience with her accounting education in her future career.

Having lived and worked in China and now studying in Australia, Jingna (Nora) is passionate about cross-cultural learning and the connections between Australia and China. She looks forward to learning from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, while continuing to develop her professional perspective and contribute to stronger connections between the two countries.
