
Suet Ying (Tiffany) is a Master of Education student specializing in TESOL at the University of South Australia. Originally from Hong Kong, she holds dual bachelor’s degrees in English Language and Literature and English Language Teaching from the Hong Kong Baptist University, where she earned multiple Dean's List honours. Tiffany's research interests include English and Cantonese phonology, sociolinguistics, and second language acquisition, focusing on how language education can enhance intercultural competence. Her multilingual background and teaching experience in both Hong Kong and Australia provide her with a unique perspective on cross-cultural communication. Having observed the complexities of communication across cultures, Tiffany advocates for teaching methodologies that go beyond language skills to foster cultural sensitivity and is passionate about promoting inclusive and responsive language education.
