I am doing the Master of Music (Pedagogy and Performance) degree at The University of Adelaide. I come from Guangzhou, China. Before I come to Australia, I worked as a senior Guzheng teacher for many years. During these years, I not only engaged in Guzheng teaching, but also led students to participate in various music-related competitions at home and abroad, and organized various large-scale annual performances and music selection activities in the local area. Many of my students have won the highest award at home and abroad, and I have also been rewarded for 'Youth Art Talent Educator', 'Guzheng competition program guidance Special Gold Medal', etc. In 2019, I established Tianyun Guzheng ensemble in Zhaoqing city. In 2022, I set up Fenghua Guzheng ensemble in Adelaide and joined the Chinese Orchestra of Elder of Conservatorium. Now I am one of the director of that orchestra. I hope I can work related to music and art after I graduate from the university. Music is an important part of each country's culture, so strengthening the music exchange between China and Australia is one of the important ways of cultural exchange between our two countries. I am ready to make efforts and contributions to this end.
