I am an aspiring educator currently enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) program at the University of South Australia, specialising in languages. My cultural heritage and diverse experiences have shaped my educational journey. My academic achievements include a Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies from the University of Queensland and a bachelor's degree in modern languages. However, it's my hands-on teaching experience that truly defines my passion. I spent two years teaching Chinese and developing cultural awareness at the Montessori British School in Colombia, practising my instructional skills and fostering cross-cultural connections among students. I recently completed my first placement and gained valuable insights into intercultural teaching in an Australian school setting. My career ambition is to continue empowering young minds through language and intercultural education, promoting global understanding in an increasingly interconnected world. I am deeply committed to innovative pedagogical approaches and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
