Hello! I’m Tina (Jingyi Wang), a Master of Social Work student at Griffith University, specialising in Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) advocacy. In my current practice, I provide integrated support to women impacted by DFV, with a focus on brief counselling, case management, and court advocacy. My professional experience also extends to research and evaluation in violence against women, parenting support, and organisational behaviour, where I’ve collaborated with prominent academics and government organisations in Queensland, Australia. I am passionate about creating meaningful change for women through evidence-based practice.

I was born and raised in Henan province, the birthplace of Chinese civilisation. My passion for promoting social justice originates from my upbringing experiences there, where I witnessed the challenges many families face due to inequalities in the education system. In the short term, I plan to specialise further in supporting women's safety and health by deepening my understanding of the legal systems in both Australia and China. Ultimately, I aim to facilitate collaboration between social work, mental health and legal professionals in both countries to develop interventions that are effective and culturally appropriate.
