Siqi Wang is an honours student in Mechanical Engineering at Deakin University. Originally from Hubei, China, she has a strong academic background in structural design, materials engineering, and advanced manufacturing. Prior to transferring to Deakin, she completed her foundational engineering studies at Wuhan University of Science and Technology, where she received multiple provincial awards in national innovation and design competitions.
Her current academic interests focus on additive manufacturing and its potential to drive sustainable industrial transformation. Siqi is passionate about bridging engineering innovation between China and Australia through international collaboration and applied research.
With experience in technical writing, voluntary teaching, and media reporting, she values cross-disciplinary learning and community engagement. Siqi aspires to pursue a career in advanced manufacturing and research, with a focus on material optimisation and sustainable design practices.
