Keke Chen is a Master of Information Technology (Software Engineering) student at Charles Darwin University (CDU), originally from Henan, China. He completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Technology and worked in the IT industry in China for several years, gaining experience in software development, testing, and automation.
Since moving to Darwin, Keke has become increasingly involved in the local community through volunteering and university activities. He currently serves as Vice President of the IT Students Association at CDU, where he has had opportunities to connect with students from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened his interest in community building, multicultural engagement, and creating opportunities for people to connect and learn from one another.
Keke hopes to build a career at the intersection of technology, community, and innovation. Having grown up in China and now studying and living in the Northern Territory, he is particularly interested in Australia’s multicultural society and its connections with the broader Asia-Pacific region. He looks forward to learning from people with diverse perspectives and contributing his own experiences through the Stephen FitzGerald Scholars Program.
