Jingwen Liu is a Master of Biopharmaceutical Engineering student at the Adelaide University. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University before moving to Australia to specialise in advanced drug-delivery technology.
His research focuses on engineering antibody-targeted lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the precise delivery of mRNA therapeutics. He has developed a platform that uses bioorthogonal click chemistry to attach targeting antibodies to azide-functionalised LNPs.
He is currently applying for PhD positions, with the aim of building a research career in targeted nanomedicine. He is particularly interested in how to enhance the specificity of targeting, and in applying this to cancer therapy and immunotherapy.
