Wen-Hsuan (Vivian) Lu is an early childhood educator and postgraduate student currently studying and working in Australia, with her educational journey beginning in Taiwan. Her experiences across Taiwanese and Australian educational contexts have strengthened her appreciation for children’s agency, voice, and right to make meaningful choices in their everyday learning.

She believes that children should have opportunities to freely express their ideas, ask questions, make decisions, and actively participate in matters that affect their learning and lives. Her approach to education is grounded in respectful relationships, inclusion, and democratic practices, recognising children as capable individuals with ideas, perspectives, and an active role in their learning communities.

Through reflection, collaboration, and listening to the diverse perspectives of children, families, and communities, she continues to strengthen her professional practice and commits to creating learning environments where every child feels respected, heard, and confident to express themselves.
