Cheuk Hei (Henry) Ng is a final-year Master of Cyber Security student at Griffith University, originally from Hong Kong. With a strong academic record and a passion for technology, he has made the most of his time at Griffith by getting involved in opportunities that connect learning with the real world.
His experience includes industry placements with the Queensland Government and the private sector, where he has explored how organisations can adopt new technologies while maintaining trust, privacy, and responsible decision-making. Outside his studies, Cheuk Hei (Henry) has participated in cybersecurity and innovation hackathons, supported fellow students through mentoring, and actively engaged with Griffith’s industry and student communities.
Cheuk Hei (Henry) is particularly interested in the intersection of technology, people and trust, and hopes to build a career in cybersecurity where he can help organisations navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with a rapidly changing digital world.
As an international student from Hong Kong, Cheuk Hei (Henry) is excited to represent Griffith and share his perspective at the Stephen FitzGerald Scholars Program. He is looking forward to his first visit to Canberra, meeting students from across the Greater China region, learning from their experiences, and building connections that continue well beyond the program.
