Bingrui Yan is a Master of Professional Accounting student at Monash University, originally from Shandong, China. With a background in journalism and a strong academic record, Bingrui was named to the 2024 Dean’s List for Academic Excellence and received two Unit Prize Awards from the Monash Business School in recognition of outstanding performance.
He interned at BDO China’s SOE & International Business Division, where he prepared audit documentation, conducted inventory procedures, and developed automation tools for confirmation tracking. This experience deepened his understanding of ethical reporting and institutional accountability.
At Monash, Bingrui has served as a Student Unit Leader and actively participated in the English Connect program, contributing to inclusive learning environments and cross-cultural engagement. These roles enhanced his leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in a diverse academic setting.
Bingrui is passionate about the intersection of accounting and public governance. His career interests include ESG assurance, cross-border compliance, and ethical financial policy. He aspires to apply his professional knowledge to support transparency and responsible finance in both corporate and public sectors.
