With a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Chenyu Lyu is now a graduate student in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Melbourne. Born and raised in Shaoxing, she has developed a passion for ancient artworks and Chinese modern literature composed by countless thinkers, artists and revolutionists from this 2500-year-old city. Lyu’s bilingual background drew her to the cultural promotion and tourism industry, where she can promote Chinese traditional culture while learning from the West with an open mindset. With the skills of collecting, translating and interpreting historical materials, she aims to build a cultural and spiritual bridge between China and friends all over the world by sharing authentic and intriguing stories.
