Originally from Hong Kong, I am in my final semester of my Master’s in Community Development at Murdoch University in Perth. I am passionate about pursuing a career in community arts projects, focusing on raising awareness about the accessibility and inclusivity of the arts. Through various volunteer roles and internships, I’ve seen and experienced the power of art to connect individuals and strengthen communities, particularly through collaborative projects where every contribution counts.

I am especially interested in working with students and families, recognizing the profound impact that early experiences can have on individual growth. By engaging parents in arts projects that extend beyond schools, I aim to foster deeper community connections and create inclusive spaces where all voices are valued.

Throughout my studies, I’ve learned the importance of working with communities—embracing a bottom-up approach that respects their knowledge and lived experiences, particularly when working with children. My goal is to challenge the perception that the arts are exclusive and to make art a tool for building stronger, more connected communities.
