Siming is in her final semester for the master’s degree of public policy at Crawford School, Australian National University, specialising in social policy and economic policy.

She worked in tech start-ups and in the arts. Before coming to Crawford, she was a senior arts manager in the British Council Shanghai office, forging creative connections and collaborations for artists and arts organisations in the UK and China in response to sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Her research explores the dynamics between social policies and economic polices, in the current climate transition.

She’s an accredited English Chinese interpreter. She enjoys nature, reading, travelling and table tennis. She volunteers at the gardening group at the Food Co-op Canberra, that won an ACT Community Garden grant in 2024 for the rooftop garden.
