Wui Yan Ho 何汇恩

I am Wui Yan Charlotte Ho and am completing a Master’s degree in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management at Flinders University. Being brought up in a multicultural and multilingual family in Hong Kong, I had the privilege to witness the power of languages and how cultures can enrich one’s life. This explains my immense interest and curiosity in them. 

My thesis on Hong Kong cultural heritage in South Australia has demonstrated the importance and benefits of understanding different cultures and the advantages in strengthening Australia as a multicultural country.

My years of experience as a public speaker have made me a confident and effective communicator who enjoys connecting with people. After graduation, I aspire to work in the cultural heritage management field to participate in preserving what matters most, and to prioritise in the learning and understanding of ‘lesser known’ cultures and bring them to light to everyone.
