
Yixiang Wang is a first year Master of Nursing student at the University of Wollongong. She has finished her previous bachelor and master’s degrees in English Interpreting in China.
Originally from Xi’an, Yixiang has diverse professional experience, including working in healthcare support roles in New Zealand, faculty administrator, and freelance interpreter China. These experiences have deepened her commitment to improving access to quality healthcare, particularly for vulnerable populations.
Her current studies are focused on developing clinical and leadership skills to pursue a career as a registered nurse, with a long-term goal of contributing to global health initiatives and fostering international collaboration in healthcare. She is passionate about cultural exchange and sees healthcare as a powerful platform to promote understanding between countries.
