AuSI 2025 Visiting Fellows Announced

The ANU Australian Studies Institute (AuSI) is pleased to announce the successful Fellows for our 2025 AuSI Visiting Fellowship Program. This Fellowship Program brings early and mid-career academics to The Australian National University (ANU) campus, to deepen research focusing on Australia or which locates Australia in broader transnational and comparative studies.
“Building on the strong success of past rounds, we are thrilled to again attract high-level scholars with imaginative proposals. Facilitating original research aligns strongly with our mission in promoting excellence in Australian Studies and strengthening global collaborations.
“From an ultra-competitive field originating in ten countries, the academic selection panel awarded placements to five outstanding Fellows (four of which are international) constituting the 2025 intake.
“Unsurprisingly, given the state of the world, their projects pursue topics under two pertinent themes: 'Institutions, governance and democratic renewal' and/or 'Trust, truth and public discourse'.”
— Professor Mark Kenny, Director, ANU Australian Studies Institute
